Flossing Is Important for Preventing Cavities as Well as Gum Disease

Consistent oral hygiene practices like attending your regularly scheduled dental checkups at Dental Center and brushing your teeth each morning and night are key for the prevention of cavities and early detection of oral health problems. After you are done brushing and flossing for the day, you might want to also give your mouth a vigorous rinse with an antiseptic mouthwash that has been approved by the American Dental Association.
